On the Screened Porch

Today, I'm setting the table on the screened porch.  I love all the bright colors!

I'm sure you recognize the centerpiece.  I had it displayed on my sideboard.  I used two table runners that I purchased for $2 each.  I've had them quite a while and this is the first time I've used them.

A couple of weeks ago, I found the white plates at a local thrift store.  They are made by Homer Laughlin and are very heavy.  Since they are larger than most dinner plates, I 'm using them as chargers.

The pretty robin's egg blue plates are from the Dollar Tree several years back.  The green bowls are a recent purchase from there.

The napkins are another recent thrift store purchase.  I just had to put my Pyrex "Pink Flamingo" bowl on the table.  This was a yard sale find for 25 cents!

The turquoise iced tea glasses are a recent purchase from JCPenney.  I mismatched my flatware using a solid dark wood handle along side bamboo knives.

Thank you for stopping by!

Blessings,

Tammy

  1. I really like all the neat colors in the runners, too, Tammy! They all work so well together and give the table such a happy look! I REALLY like the napkins!!!!!!!!!! And you got those at a yard sale?!??!?!! I saw the salad plates and bowls at DT just yesterday and admired them for a long time before deciding to just get a few of the dinner-size plates...for now! :-) I got the dinner plates in the same color as your bowls. We'll have to swap back and forth! :-)
