In last Monday's post, I shared my mesh wreath that I made for the front door. You can see it here. For the side entrance, coming though the mudroom, I wanted to do a more rustic theme.
All the materials were recycled except for the moss, which was purchased from the Dollar Tree. The vine basket wreath was an old Thanksgiving wreath that was getting a little funky. I removed everything except for the foam in the bottom. The cute little ceramic bunny was in a box of goodies someone gave Hunter. The flowers were part of an old flower arrangement that I was going to throw away but just couldn’t bring myself to do it! I took it apart and washed all the flowers in the sink and put them outside to dry!
The bright green of the eucalyptus leaves contrast nicely with the darker green moss.
The burlap ribbon was also leftover from Thanksgiving. Thank goodness it’s so flexible! My bow making skills are that great!
It’s exactly how I wanted it! Simple and sweet…..and only $1 spent out of pocket! Have you started on your Easter décor?
Thanks for stopping by!
Tammy
