Hello, everyone! I hope you had a good weekend! We stayed pretty busy around here. Hunter and I went to the Audubon Pilgrimage Friday and toured some local plantation homes. They don’t allow inside pictures but I will be sharing a fantastic garden tour with you later this week! On Saturday, we all went to a boat show! Sunday afternoon was spent painting the living room! Since it will be awhile before I get finished in my living room, I thought I would share some Spring décor that I’ve got out. First up is the mug tree!
I removed some of the mug and used jelly jar tied with jute string to display some carrots….
and daffodils! I tucked some burlap ribbon in the jar to cover the stems and to add a little texture!
A little chick and some moss rocks set up top on some plates!
The mantel was also spruced up a bit! On one end is a white vase of forsythia and dog wood branches.
I purchased the little faux chocolate bunnies from Hobby Lobby.
I love the chocolate color with the green and white!
My mercury glass votive cups that I made seem to fill the space nicely. To see how I made them, click here.
The white bunny sits on top of some old books to add height in the center.
A trio of white and greenery finishes off the other end! Are you ready for Spring?
Thanks for stopping by!
Tammy

ReplyDeleteI love all your Spring touches! It's still pretty cold here today but I know it's right around the corner!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! The daffodils look too cute on the mug tree. Your mantel looks wonderful too. I forgot I have some moss balls in shapes like yours. I will have to get them out and add them to my mantel decoration. Love the forstythia!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet Hunter enjoyed your trip to the plantation homes. I've heard some of them are just pretty doggone spectacular inside and out. Your mantel looks terrific! It really looks like Spring has sprung! I didn't see those faux chocolate Easter bunnies at Hobby Lobby. I guess I'll give it a whirl next time I get out and about. I used to love to eat those things! It was weird...I'd eat the ears, and then I didn't want the rest! :-) Think I'm even weirder now than you already did? :-) :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Tammy, All of your Spring decor is beautiful! I especially love the bottle tree and the cute bunnies. Looking forward to seeing the garden tour and I appreciate you linking to the Open House party.

ReplyDeleteSo nice, Tammy! I'm on the lookout for one of those mug drying rack. Someone said they have them at World Market, but haven't found one yet -- boohoo! Your forsythia is beautiful, and the chocolate colored bunny is super-cute!

ReplyDeleteI love all of your snippets of spring! Now if we could just get the real thing - it is still very cold here in PA! You have a lovely home. Happy Thursday from the enchanted oven.

Love all your Easter/Spring touches, Tammy! I've been obsessed with green mixed with brown and burlap this year. I'm so glad to see your mug tree - I purchased one a couple of weeks ago and hadn't quite known what to do with it til I saw yours. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour mantel looks so pretty, Tammy! I love green and white together. It's such a classic look. Love your bunnies, too!
