I’m seeing RED! in my Thrifty Finds!

SAM_5513

A couple of weeks ago, Hunter got a whole row of boxes at the auction for $3.  After we returned home, we started going though the boxes and I noticed my little pile had a theme going!  Country with a RED touch.  For good measure, I’m also sharing a few other thrifty finds in the same theme.  First up is this chicken planter from an estate sale.  It is homemade and I loved the colors!  The white is so….I don’t know….RIGHT!?!

Now for the items from the box deals.  I just love this little napkin holder!  It’s a metal frame with crocheted doilies on each side.  Even the calico napkins have a touch of red in them.

Another napkin holder!  Such a chicken little chicken!  I used the red salt and pepper shakers a couple of weeks ago in a tablescape.

No, this wasn’t in the box deal…but I got a deal on it!  FREE!  A close family friend purchased a home where the owner had passed away and the family left most of her belongings.  I lucked up with this complete Pryex refrigerator and oven set. It looked brand new, even having the original paperwork.

It even has a few recipes to try!

Even the tablecloth was a garage sale.  If I see vintage linens and the price is right, I get ‘em quick!
