I haven’t decorated for Halloween for quite a few years! This year, I was so inspired by the Halloween issue of Celebrate magazine that I decided to do a few areas.
In the foyer, I used some glass containers to display a skull and a raven, both were purchased from the Dollar Tree.
Spooky!…without being too scary!
I love the way the candle wax dripped down the bottle! This was from the Hurricane Isaac tablescape!
On the the office! I decorated the top of the balustrade table with some spooky touches as well!
A few old pictures of relatives….
Eek! Now that’s scary! LOL! I purchased these plastic pictures from the Dollar Tree. They originally had plastic frames that were all made into one piece but I cut out the frame and put the pictures in some frames I had around the house. Isn’t it cool? There were also some that you could print from the Celebrate site but after I saw these for a dollar apiece I didn’t worry about printing my own.
Ohhh, there’s some ghostly writing going on here!
Spider webs and spiders complete the spooky look!
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh--looks like you had a ball! I especially love the cobwebby typewriter.
ReplyDeleteLove the cobwebs all over the typewriter. Spooky :-)
ReplyDeleteYou are totally in the spirit! (No pun intended!) I love that old typewriter!!!!!! I had one years ago but tossed it. What was I thinking??!?!?! Great idea to replace the ugly frames to make the relatives more "your own." I really thought they might be actual family until I saw the transformation! Great job!
