I found another use for my PB inspired dispenser tags! Before I had some Chris Madden cream ceramic canisters as you can see in this picture from my kitchen post, which you can see here. The largest of the three just barely held a 5 pound bag of sugar. When I saw these big clear jars at Walmart, I just had to get some! They were only $10 each and considering how much they hold versus how much I pay for the smaller ceramic canisters, I got a super deal!
After I got the jars home and filled, I started thinking of a way to label them. I considered the vinyl sheets you can buy but I live a good ways from anywhere that would have that. So I thought of these dispenser tags that I had made. You can see that post here.
I like how they look on my counter. They kind of lighten the area up some!
Thanks for stopping by!
Great job! Love your kitchen!

I agree that everyday canister sets are generally made for being pretty and not so functional. Great idea to use those large jars so there's plenty of room for the goods. I've been eyeing those at Walmart too!
ReplyDeleteHi Tammy: I love your kitchen. We are re-doing ours and it's funny. I had the clear glass cannisters and are now looking for some ones like you had, and we had tile (not as pretty as yours, though) before and are now installing beadboard as a backsplash. Hopefully I'll be posting the final reveal before too long but your's is absolutely beautiful. I love the island. Wish I had put one in..Happy Weekend..Judy
ReplyDeleteI love your tags and jars. I just got some unfinished woode tags in the mail today that I ordered from a craft supply house. Now I know what I'm going to do with some of them. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty jars and those tags are fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend!
