Fall Breakfast Table

Fall Tablescape @ A Walk in the Countryside

Halloween is over and Thanksgiving will be here before we know it…only 2 more weeks!  Today I’ve set up a little breakfast table for two in the kitchen.

The deep red placemats bring out the red in the flowers.

The majolica leaf plates were a thrifty find that the Trash to Treasure sale and the leaf plates were a recent purchase from Wal-Mart. I love the red  berries in the design.

Ralph Lauren napkins carry on the leaf theme.  The wooden flatware was a purchase from the dollar store.

Juice glasses are vintage boopie glass and the cup and saucer are vintage Buffalo China.  The crock bowl sits in wait for some fresh baked biscuits!

Recently I found a recipe for biscuits that taste A LOT like Cracker Barrell’s.  I’ll have to share it with you soon!  They were easy to make and Sooo good!

  2. Super soothing, Tammy! I wish I had someone to have a table like this ready for me every fall morning when I stumble out of bed and head downstairs! Hmmmmm.....need a job? :-) Wouldn't that be the life, though, to actually have someone who did nothing but set nice tables for you every meal of every day? I might actually like that as a job! So sorry...you're fired before your even hired! :-)

  8. I love both of your plates. The texture on the green one is wonderful and the colors on the salad plates are just perfect. I know, it is coming way too fast this year. I had a party tonight so that got Halloween put away and Thanksgiving put up. Glad I was forced to do it!
