Hi there! I’m so glad you stopped by! Today I’m sharing some vintage milk glass snack sets that I found at Goodwill several months back. I believe they are from the 1950’s.
The pattern is the Atomic Flower. I love the colors and the modern edginess they have!
They had a total of 12 sets and looked brand new! I controlled myself and only purchased four sets!
The bright colors in the centerpiece make me smile! It has been so dreary here with rain that it can get depressing!
So this is my little sunshine on a cloudy day! Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you, Maya! I am so ready for Spring!
DeleteI love milk glass and yours is so unusual. Very pretty centerpiece too.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I don't have a lot of milk glass but having been picking up some here and there when I come across an unusual piece...at the right price, of course! Have a blessed week, Tammy!
DeleteI love your milk glass pieces, they are lovely. Your flowers are very pretty, as well. Thank you so much for your sweet and kind wishes.

Thank you and you are very welcome! Have a blessed week!
DeleteI just love snacksets.. so perfect for weekends!!! Your set is so pretty. I am sure it took a lot of willpower to not bring the rest home. The colors of the flowers work so pretty with them.. xo marlis
ReplyDeleteIt did take a lot of willpower but I had to restrain myself! I am running out of room to store dishes and 12 sets would have taken up a lot of space! Have a blessed week, Tammy!
DeleteWhat a sweet find! You have more self control than me. I'm sure I would have brought all 12 home. You were thoughtful to leave some for the next admirer. '-)
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought, too! Let someone else have a chance and I think actually two others benefitted! I noticed that four sets were purchased after me which left the other four for someone else! Have a blessed week, Tammy!
DeleteHey Tammy; I Love your Blog!!! I wish that you had purchased ALL 12 Sets!!!! I think that you could have auctioned them off on here!!! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteBTW, These Snack Sets orginally came in a set of twelve, if anyone is interested, and they are quite collectable as well depending on the Colours, Markings, and Pattern's.
The sets(There are many!!!) were mainly produced from the 1940's, 1950's, and the early 1960's. They are generally thought of today as being "A Cousin of Depression Glass"
This set however being White Milk Glass is most sought after as it is from the 1950's.
They look Beautiful, and I hope that you enjoy them!!! Take Care :-)
I should have done that! I have other things that I want to sell, I just never seem to get around to posting them! Thanks for the great info! I always try to find more info when I come across vintage items....I think it's the history buff in me! Have a blessed, Tammy!
DeleteI love snack sets and I do not own any. Several years ago, my daughter found some gorgeous old Lenox ones and I have definite snack set envy. I think your are so adorable and just scream "Vintage". Thanks for sharing your wonderful "find".
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diane! The local antique store had a set of four, still in the box, that had red roses on them. I hinted that they would make a lovely Valentine's gift but nobody caught on! LOL! Have a blessed week! Tammy
DeleteHow on earth did you muster up such self-control??!?!??! I would have taken all 12 and screamed for more!!! Those are really cool!!!!!!! When I first landed on your post, I was immediately taken by all the gorgeous color! Yes, yes, and y-e-s!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could muster it up while dieting!!! LOL! I was thinking about the where to store them actually! I, too, just loved the color! I really wanted an art deco style vase but couldn't find one! Have a blessed week, Tammy!
DeleteI remember eating off those in the 60's at a bridal shower! Interesting pattern, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI love the modern yet vintage feel to them! Have a blessed week, Tammy!
DeleteGorgeous flowers and such a lovely tablescape. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
