A simple touch can mean so much..... The frame was painted black, putting in a layer of burlap and centering this pretty beaded shoulder pad, how simple, yet elegant. Unfortunately, I cannot take credit for this. I purchased this picture from a local shop, Onion Creek. The owner, Leah, made this little jewel. The shoulder pad was one her aunt had made many years ago.
The white mat really pulls it all together. It is classy yet casual. If you live in the Fayetteville, AR, area,
please be on the lookout for her shop. She closed her shop here to move back to that area and plans on opening a shop there in March 2012. Her prices are very good and she has quite an eye for putting things together. Click here to visit her site.
I'm joining the party at Metamorphosis Monday with Susan at Between Naps on the Porch. Head on there to check out the other great posts.
