My place setting consists of my pink customized charger, basic white plate (Walmart) and Mikasa heart dish. I actually designed this tablescape around the heart shaped dishes. They were a gift from my husband probably about 25 years ago. I was thinking about something for Valentine's Day when I remembered that I had them packed up. I'm so glad I got them out. They brought back a lot of memories and they set a GREAT Valentines table. The napkin is a basic white damask with a pretty silver napkin ring. I found a set of these napkin rings at the annual Trash to Treasure Sale (LOVE IT).
This was the first time I was able to incorporate the pretty pink wine glasses I found at the Salvation Army several years ago. I also used my candlewick glasses.
The silverware (Rogers First Love) adds a little sparkle..
and don't forget the candelight
Hi Tammy!
ReplyDeleteYour pretty pink table setting is just lovely. I especially love the little heart dishes, and the fact that your husband gave them to you is the best part!
I am glad I found your blog and I am now following you.

Thank you, Bunny Jean, for the lovely comments and for following me.
DeleteSo Dreamy! Love your pretty Pinks! XO Cindy
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cindy!
DeleteSo pretty, Tammy! I am super partial to pink for everything!!! I would dye my hair pink and wear pink contact lenses if I didn't think my husband would have me put in a rubber room! :-) I LOVE the pink chargers!!! I would love to have some, but haven't found the right color anywhere around here. I may end up having to make them on my own if I can find some decently priced wooden chargers to paint. It's so sweet that your husband bought the heart-shaped dishes for you! What a thoughtful gesture from a guy!!! And I love the soft pink stemware! You found that at Salvation Army thrift??? Boy, I wish! I have never found anything good in there! Great job! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Alycia, you REALLY love pink! My chargers were painted pink. They are plastic. I just sanded them a little, then spray painted. Thanks for stopping by...Tammy
DeleteBeautiful romantic table. The little heart dishes are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table!! Your silver candlesticks are just gorgeous and all of the pink is really lovely!
ReplyDeleteTammy, I love the photo in your header! The Mikasa heart shape dishes are lovely and are perfect for Valentine's Day. The pink charges are a pretty shade of pink. The silver candlelabra and champagne bucket will be used for a great romantic dinner. Happy Tablescaping! Pam
