I purchased this sideboard last year with the plan to use it as a vanity in the master bath but those plans never came to pass. After I sold my dining room set, my first thought was that this piece would be perfect for in here.
The elevated legs give it a more open feel and it’s a little shorter in length. I painted it with DIY chalk paint, white washed it, clear waxed and dark waxed it.
I lightly painted with hardware with a spray hammered silver. I choose this color because it tied into chrome on the chandelier.
