Spring Flowers

spring tablescape

Hello, everyone!  Today’s tablescape was inspired  by the flowers in the centerpiece!  The purple flowers were a gift from some friends and I mixed in the yellow daises.  You can’t really tell in the picture but the tablecloth in a very pale pink in a vintage design.

The rattan chargers gives the table a little texture.  Purple dinner plates and green salad plates were topped with a pretty floral plate.  I love the details in this plate, from the ladybugs on the leaves to the bees and dragonflies circling around.

The cup and saucers are have the same design.

I recently found the green napkin rings and white napkins at Goodwill.  I have been passing up white napkins because I have so many but there was no way I could pass up the Swiss Dot pattern.

  6. I can understand WHY you wouldn't want to pass up the Swiss dots, Tammy! They are so pretty!!! You can never have enough white napkins in my book!!! :-)

You put together a really terrific place setting. The colorful top plates just bring everything beneath them together. I love the little dragonflies! (Don't care for them in person, though. They scare the life outta me!!!) GREAT stemware!!! I haven't been able to find any really good stemware at OTP recently. I think they have just given up for some reason. I used to be able to find stems in every color of the rainbow. Now it all looks so generic. I hope they bounce back from that!

Very pretty setting, Tammy! Have a great weekend, and enjoy those pretty flowers!

  7. Those napkins are really special and so is the tablecloth! Love the flowers in the centerpiece and on your dishes. Isn't this time of year the best? We should always take a cue from nature and mix all of these colors together! Great stemware!!

  9. Such a pretty table, Tammy...those plates with the dragonfly are so cute. Love the glassware. I have found several of those beaded napkin rings recently in thrift stores...they are my favorites. Gorgeous flowers...I have always liked stock.
    Have a great week...

  10. Your floral plates are wonderful. They bring to mind and old Haviland pattern called "Meadow Visitors". Each one is different and features some small creatures, maybe a butterfly, or a caterpillar, with a design of wild flowers. The rattan chargers are the perfect choice. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
