I’ve been shopping at Dirt Cheap again! Awhile back I shared that they are the go to place for affordable linens and they didn’t fail to deliver this time either!
I found a Shabby Chic king sized comforter and 2 shams in solid white for $39! On my second trip, I got the king sized duvet and 2 shams for $10!
I even found a knit throw for $8!
The Pottery Barn pillow covers were on sale for $10 each and were purchased before I found the bed linens! I knew I could use them somewhere and they look perfect here! Please forgive the wrinkles! I actually flipped the comforter over because I wasn’t loving the ruffles too much!
White curtains were $4 a panel! The bamboo blinds are from Home Depot. Did you know that you could trim your own blinds if they are too wide? HD didn’t have the right size so my husband cut them an inch off each side using a table saw. If you are going to do this, leave them bound in the plastic wrap and cut though the wrap and blind. Does that make sense? If you roll them up and cut them without being in the wrap or being bound by some tape, they will splinter on the end.
How do you like my Victorian table that I purchased from an antique auction a few weeks ago? It’s the perfect height and I love the wheels! Now, I’m on the look out for a new lamp!

Oh that's very pretty. The color is wonderful and I love the table too. I'm planning to work on our downstairs guest room that I call "the granny room" this week. Wish I could find beautiful bedding like yours for such a great price.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Tammy! Paisley is all the rage right now! I love bamboo blinds, too, and I've had the same ones in my living room for about 20 years. I have to check out HD for these, I'd truly love to have them in every room.

Thanks, Jane! Dirt Cheap is only located in some southern states and they sale overstock, returns and salvage items. I have found that they carry a lot of Target items! HD is the cheapest place that I have found for the bamboo blinds! I also have them in my kitchen but purchased them though JCP and spent about 3 times the amount that I spent at HD.
